MEALS:
The professional kitchen staff of Syracuse University Dining Halls plan and prepare every meal. All you can eat and drink will be served 3 times daily in a campus dining facility.

SUGGESTED LIST OF WHAT TO BRING:
Lacrosse equipment, mouth guard, protective cup, bedding (sheets, pillow, blanket or sleeping bag), toiletries, fan, or towels, as these will not be supplied to you. Shirts, shorts, socks, turf shoes, grass shoes, and/or sneakers to practice in, sweatshirt, rain gear, extra money for snacks, pizza, video games, vending machines, and Camp Store. A limited amount of equipment is available for rent for a $15.00 fee at registration. Do not send rental fee in with registration. This is to be paid at time of arrival.

INSURANCE AND MEDICAL CARE:
Campers will be covered under a group camp policy. The campers have a medical trainer on site at all times. A doctor is only a couple minutes away from both fields and dorms. Every effort is made to protect the health and safety of the campers.

RULES AND REGULATIONS:
It is a pleasure to have the lacrosse camp operating on the Syracuse University campus. This is a great location, an educational atmosphere, and it will be an exciting week. Being here carries with it certain responsibilities. There are others on campus as well as in the camp and we must not interfere with their programs. We must have
rules in which we operate. These are as follows:

KEYS AND MEAL CARDS SHOULD BE KEPT IN YOUR MAILBOX.
LOSS OF KEY OR MEAL CARD . . . REPORT TO MAIN DESK AND TO COACH DESKO.
REPLACEMENT KEYS COST $32 AND MEAL CARDS COST $5.

1. PHONE CALLS:
You may make phone calls using the pay phone in the dorms. The University’s extension
phones will not call off campus.
2. ROOMS:
To be kept neat and clean.
3. BREAKAGE:
Inspection of rooms is made at the end of the session. If furniture or other equipment is broken
or damaged, campers will be required to pay for it. Furniture may not be removed from any room.
4. COUNSELORS:
There are college counselors in addition to the coaching staff. Each is here to help you
enjoy your stay. Reports of misconduct, illness, breakage, etc. should be made to Coach Desko or your Division
Commissioner.
5. DRESS:
Campers are expected to dress appropriately for each session and must wear the camp-issued reversible
jersey to all on-field sessions.
6. ALARMS:
For the protection of the campus community, the investigation of any false alarms will be referred
to the proper authorities for investigation and judgment. Any camper found guilty will be dismissed from camp.
7. ALCOHOL, DRUGS, SMOKING:
Any camper found drinking alcohol, or engaged in taking illegal drugs,
including marijuana, will be dismissed from camp and sent home without benefit of any refund. Parents will be
immediately notified and requested to provide proper departure of the camper from the campus immediately. At
no time, and under no conditions, will smoking, illegal drugs, alcohol be allowed.
9. DINING ROOM:
Please check the dining schedule carefully. Be sure that you are in the serving line at the
proper time. All trays must be taken to the Tray Return Area. Campers must attend all meals. Do not lose your
meal cards. You will not be able to eat without a meal card, and it will cost you $5.00 to get a replacement card.
KEEP KEY AND MAIL CARD ON LANYARD.
1. Shirts must be worn in the dining hall.
2. No bare feet in the dining hall – footwear is required for all meals.
3. Take only what you will eat . . . seconds and thirds are available.
4. No food is to be brought out of the cafeteria.
5. You cannot order food from outside the University.
6. All trays must be returned to kitchen conveyor belt.
10. OUT OF CAMP PERMISSION:
Campers are not allowed to leave camp premises, unless they have
permission from the Camp Director.
11. RADIOS AND CD PLAYERS:
Radios and CD players may be used in your room. Be considerate of others
and keep the volume down. If they are too noisy, we reserve the right to prohibit your listening in your room.
They are not to be played after 10:30pm.
12. ROOM:
All campers are checked into their rooms at the proper times. Counselors will report to the
administration any campers who fail to conform to these rules. Campers must be in their rooms at 10:30pm each
night with the lights out at 11:00pm.
13. LAUNDRY:
There are laundry facilities in the dorms. Check at the front desk.
14. ILLNESS:
If you are ill, report this at once. Tell one of the counselors and they will contact either Coach
Desko or your Division Commissioner, who will see that you get the proper attention. Unless you are ill or
excused, you are required to attend every lacrosse session. There is a trainer at the fields during all sessions, as
well as at the dorms overnight.
15. WALKING IN ROADS:
We share the campus streets with vehicles. Be careful and walk on sidewalks.
16. SITTING OR LEANING OUT OF WINDOWS:
Not under any circumstances are you allowed to remove
window screens. We do our best to prevent accidents, and we need your help. Immediate actions will be taken
against campers who do not comply.
17. KEYS:
If you lose your key, it will cost you $32.00 to get a new one. If you lock yourself out of your room
or your roommate does, you can get a locked out key at the Main desk. It must be returned immediately after use.
18. GENERAL:
1. No fooling around on elevators. YOU WILL BE DISMISSED FROM CAMP.
2. Report all injuries, no matter how slight to the TRAINER.
3. You are not allowed to leave campus under any condition.
4. Proper lacrosse attire at all times (socks, sneakers, shorts, shirt).
5. Absolutely no jewelry to be worn during games.
6. If anyone needs any athletic supplies, these will be available at the Camp Store.
7. LEAVE SCREENS IN YOUR ROOM ALONE.
8. Any room damage is your responsibility.
9. Bed check every evening.
10. Cars in parking lot with parking pass only . . . see Coach Desko.
11. If you are driving up yourself – keys must be left at registration and will be returned at
the end of camp.
12. No wall ball or playing ball in the rooms or dorm – outside only. and no wall ball near windows.
13. All campers must stay within the designated campus – this means dining area, dorms and fields.
19. BUSES:
For the convenience and safety of our campers, the Syracuse University Men’s Lacrosse Camp will
use buses for the transportation of campers to and from the dorm and fields. All campers will treat the drivers
with respect and will follow all bus rules. In addition, all campers will stay on the sidewalks and on the bus until
the bus has come to a full stop at the designated pick-up and drop-off areas.
