Syracuse University’s Heading West lacrosse camp is for players of all skill levels ages 8 - 15.  Located at Stagecoach Park in Carlsbad California, our mission is to help young players develop and refine the skills necessary to be successful in the sport of lacrosse, while also helping them to learn the FUN-damentals of championship lacrosse!  This is an instructional/fun camp taught by only the finest coaches and players.   

Coaches will include Syracuse University Head Coach John Desko, SU Assistant Coach  Kevin Donahue, MLL Rochester Rattlers Coach BJ O’Hara, Hall of Fame Coach Roy Simmons Jr., as well as current and former SU players including Tim O’Hara, Darren Lawlor, Gordie Mapes , and others.

Camp Price: $350 + Registration Fee

Morning session (Ages 8 - 12): 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM
Afternoon session (Ages 13 - 15): 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM

  
 
CAMP INFORMATION
  

Facilities: 2 Turf fields at Stagecoach Park, Carlsbad, Ca.

Staff: SU coaches, current and cormer SU players, high school coaches, “Special Guests!”

Deposit, Balance & Registration Fee: A $100.00 deposit (non-refundable) must accompany each application.  The balance must be paid and the health form returned by June 1st, 2011.  A Registration Fee of $10 will be assessed via the registration page.

Equipment: All campers are responsible to bring “Full Equipment” including Helmet, Gloves, Mouth Guard, Arm Pads, Shoulder Pads … suggested but not required are Rib Pads.  Play will be on “Astro Turf” so wear either Tennis Shoes, Molded Cleats or Turf Shoes.
